About Me.

I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL, and graduated from Saint Petersburg High School. I received my undergraduate education from Bucknell University and earned me Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law.  During law school I clerked for Judge Linda Carpenter in Philadelphia Criminal Court of Commons Pleas, as well as the US EPA Region 3 Headquarters focusing on environmental justice. Through Villanova’s Farmworker Legal Aid Clinic, Amanda represented local migrant workers in a wide variety of issues ranging from wage claim disputes to immigration, and sexual harassment to workers compensation.

With my 13 years of experience, I have a strong background in consumer protection law and a history of  successfully holding banks and debt collectors accountable. My demonstrated commitment to advocating for individuals facing harassment and abuse, is supplemented by focus on educating and empowering consumers.

When I am  not fighting for justice, my husband and I can be found loving on our rescue fur-baby, Angus, cheering for the Tampa Bay Lightning and dreaming up new ways to spoil their niece and nephew.
